Love in Alaska Engagement Session

Love in Alaska for Asia and Mel’s Engagement Session

Winner Creek Trail is a roughly 8-mile loop ride that you can access from anywhere in Girdwood. It’s the perfect setting to capture love in Alaska for an engagement session, especially couples that love travel and adventure. Asia and Mel cherished each other’s company throughout our entire shoot, and that’s something I always love to see while I work.

They’re a couple that loves to laugh together, as well as share in truly intimate moments. It was such a joy to share in the idyllic scenery of Alaska with them, and Winner’s Creek was so quiet and inviting. The crisp air and changing foliage made the perfect canvas for the pops of red in Asia and Mel’s attire.

As an elopement photographer, I take responsibility as a steward of the land. We always take the necessary steps to leave no trace as we execute your session, rooting your event with both adventure and conservation. I take every step necessary to leave no trace, especially while traveling to new places.

Nature is one of my greatest inspirations when I shoot. I loved the opportunity to explore Alaska for Asia and Mel’s shoot. Just as a new trail or travel opportunity can make your heart flutter with excitement, so can moments in our lives that are filled with love. That’s why I love capturing engagements in nature, because it reflects the ever evolving growth of a couple’s commitment.
