It’s the Same for Eloping

There’s a misconception around elopements; that they don’t take planning. Nothing could be further from the truth. Unless you’re running away to the courthouse with whatever you’ve got hanging in your closet, and don’t mind having no photos to look back on, even an elopement takes planning.

If this stresses you out, remember, setting things up in advance is to ensure that your day is stress free!

A Two Day Adventure

Do you ever think about saying goodbye to all the fuss and whisking your partner away for an elopement adventure? What about tying the knot, just the two of you, in the great outdoors?

We had just this adventure with Carly and Jake for two fabulous days of glamping at Big Sur. It was truly unforgettable. Check out our 2 Day Glamping Elopement here.

Day 1:

Our first day at Big Sur included a dip in the water and playing on the beach at sunset. Then it was back to camp for BBQ and Smores.

Day 2:

We started with coffee in bed for the couple, then helping with getting ready for the ceremony. This couple loved getting dressed together before exploring the forest around the campgrounds at sunrise. We then headed into the Redwoods for their vow exchange and an Almond Champagne pop provided by us from  Wilson Creek Sparkling Wines. My team and I always love finding a local shop or cafe to add to the coupe’s picnic, and one of our favorite spots in Big Sur is Lafayette French Bakery and Cafe.

We promise you’ll love the results in your photos. Let our photography restore your love for years to come, as a reminder of the devoted adventure you chose to be on together.
