Shane and Phuong’s Mile-High Rocky Mountain Engagement Session
Rocky Mountain National Park
Shane and Phuong wanted a mile-high Rocky Mountain engagement session to remind them of their meeting place in Colorado where they met while attending pharmacy school. Since the wedding will be in California, they wanted the engagement session to be a memory that would bring them back to those school days. The wedding will take place at Avensole Winery, a perfect setting for a winery wedding that’s located close to Shane and Phuong’s friends and family.
Trying New Things
Shane and Phuong have a sense of adventure and love trying new things. Before Covid they would travel often, and try new restaurants, but managed to continue their explorations via hikes their dogs Hudson and Hendrix, despite the restrictions 2020 brought.
Popping the Question
After being friends for 4 years during their time at pharmacy school, Shane finally professed his true feelings to Phuong when she left for her new job in California after school. Shane popped the questions at the Hilton Waterfront hotel in Huntington Beach and they celebrated with family over that weekend.
Wedding Bells Will Ring
Shane and Phuong’s wedding will take place in October of next year and they have some advice for future brides and grooms: simple is always better. Shane says, “ I took 4 years to realize the girl I wanted to spend the rest of my life with was right across the table from me in the library on a daily basis. Then I took less than a year to propose.” Once you know you know, right?
Special Touches
Phuong’s family is Vietnamese, so they’ve decided to make their wedding bilingual. It’s sure to be a beautiful day at the winery for this beautiful couple and their families with flowers by Detailed Floral Design, and music from Vox DJs.
