Aaron + Jordan’s Engagement Session at Torrey Pines Beach
Toes in the Sand
Aaron and Jordan’s Torrey Pines beach engagement was picture perfect, and non-stop romantic. They love to hike and travel, which was obvious by their ease in nature. What I love about engagement sessions is how new it all feels for a couple, and how every moment deserves a kiss. It’s so fun capturing these moments of such a momentous step in peoples’ live. As I was shooting Aaron and Jordan I kept singing The Carpenters “We’ve Only Just Begun” in my head!
The Proposal
Having their engagement session at the beach made perfect sense for Aaron and Jordan; it’s where the big question was popped! Aaron had set up a picnic on the beach near Del Mar, and that’s where he asked her to marry him. His parents even flew out from New Hampshire so they could all celebrate as a family afterwards at Jake’s Del Mar.
How It Began
You would think that Aaron joining in on an all girl’s dinner would be like oil and water, but in this case, it was just fate. Our happy couple met just that way when Aaron was brought to an all girl’s dinner party by a mutual best friend. Jordan says that she and Aaron didn’t talk much that night, but less than a week later Aaron called her to ask her out on a date. We’re so glad she said yes!
Wedding Plans
Aaron and Jordan are planning to be married in June next year close to where Jordan grew up. They sound so excited when they talk about the big day, and it’s so refreshing to hear. I know they’re both going to have a day they will remember and cherish for the rest of their lives. It’s sure to be a fun and beautiful occasion for everyone, especially if they follow their own advice. Their words of wisdom? “ Enjoy the process! Keep it fun!”
