A Winery Wedding Designed by Designers
Shannon and Antonio’s eye for beauty didn’t just spark brilliant and elegant choices for their Callaway Winery Spring Wedding, it sparked their entire relationship. The happy couple met at Shannon’s company where Antonio was hired to deign her new jackets. Their first consult took place at a coffee shop, their first date at the movies, but their big day took place in the cellar, fields, and vines of the one and only Callaway Winery in Temecula. Tiffany Blue and a 1961 Chevrolet Impala
Shannon and Antonio had the most elegant design for their big day, with whites, blacks, and silvers, but that didn’t stop them from bringing the fun as well. I loved the pops of color of Tiffany Blue throughout the venue and decor. This classic turquoise 1961 Chevy Impala was a jaw dropping surprise for the guests, and we of course had the most fun taking extra time to shoot with this beauty.
Shannon is a huge Audrey Hepburn fan with Breakfast at Tiffany‘s being one of her favorite movies. They had some brilliant nods to the film including hanging chandeliers that mimic the ones found in the Tiffany & Co stores.
Favorite Moments of the couples Spring Winery Wedding
Shannon loves wine and has always found winery weddings to be elegant and beautiful. Callaway Vineyard & Winery was the first venue they visited, and it didn’t take long for Shannon & Antonio to want to book with them. It was a beautiful day and location for such a meaningful celebration. Shannon said that as she walked onto the lawn for the ceremony she was nervous, but after picking out Antonio through the crowd, hers nerves calmed down immediately. She shared with us that it was like the world stood still as her father walked her to the alter.
Advice from the Couple
We asked Shannon and Antonio if they had any advice for couples planning their wedding, and they shared some valuable words of wisdom. “Be graceful with yourself and your fiancé. Stress and nerves are inevitable, but be kind to yourself and each other – it’s a day of celebrating your love after all. Speaking of relieving stress, hire a wedding planner!!”
