Elopements are intimate, it can be just you and your significant other or it can be you and your closest family members but you never want to feel like you are leaving anyone out of your big day. That is why I always love to suggest sending out an announcement to your family and friends who were not there on your special day.
The announcement typically is a card or postcard that has a photo from the elopement on it. It can be used as a keepsake of some sort. Some couples add their gift registry to their announcement as well if they feel comfortable.
