Garrett’s 24th birthday brought him a gift that he could have never imaged! His future wife had been invited to his birthday celebration by her roommate. Brie’s friend and soon to be bridesmaid invited Brie to go to her roommate’s – boyfriends – roommate’s 24th birthday party (who neither of them had ever met). As fate would have it, the birthday party was for Garrett! Brie and Garrett really hit it off at the party. The two started dating and finally made it “facebook official” on April 18, 2010 during a friends bar-golf themed birthday party. These two really enjoy their birthday parties!!
On July 1st 2016, the couple headed to Marshfield, MA to celebrate the 4th of July weekend with family. Garrett asked Brie to go take a picture with him on the beach. He lead her down to the sand and that’s where it all happened!! Garrett got on one knee (with the entire family watching!!) and proposed!
When Brie and Garrett expressed they wanted to do their engagement session at the Griffith Observatory I was so thrilled!! I love the area and the vibe. It ended up being a very crowded and windy day in LA, however, I think we still had a great time and these photos reflect the love these two share for each other.
Congrats!! I cannot wait to shoot their Mount Palomar Winery Wedding this fall!!
