The Beauty of Big Sur
Rosie and Bub chose to have their engagement session on the rocks at Big Sur- they wanted to capture this momentous occasion amidst the amazing backdrops and stunning scenery. Can you blame them? Big Sur is one of the most beautiful locations on the west coast, with the ocean positively singing to you as your climb the rocks.
The Big Question
As a couple, Rosie and Bub love to travel, snowboard, hike with their dogs, and go on date nights to eat ramen. I’m sure if Rosie was expecting a proposal it could’ve been hard to suspect where Bub would pop the question. I love what he decided to do! On a trip to visit friends in Paso Robles they took a trip to a winery for some tasting, and during pictures with friends Bub dropped to one knee and ask her to marry him. Rosie said she was so happy to have friends there to celebrate with and share a bottle of champagne.
An Adventure Session
I had such a great time with Rosie and Bub. During my shoots, I like to give couples an experience that feels more like an adventure than a stale and standard studio session. It’s why I insist on shooting outdoors. Rosie and Bub were so adorable in their private moments with each other, and an absolute blast to joke around and chat with during our hikes. It was great how much they trusted me to show them all the best spots to take our photos, and we had a nice ending to the day with a bottle of champagne.
How They Met
Rosie and Bub met when they both worked at PetSmart and became instant friends. Over time the relationship grew and they decided to take the next step to becoming boyfriend and girlfriend. I am so happy for them to be marrying next Fall at Mount Palomar Winery. Congratuations to such a sweet couple!
