Andrew planned a surprise proposal for Coree, and the whole family was in on it! Andrew and the Sharp family went to dinner, where they surprised Coree with a Thompson Square concert and meet ‘n greet passes.
When it was finally their turn to meet the band, the couple shared hugs and handshakes with Shawna and Kiefer Thompson. Andrew told the band about how their song, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not?” so closely reflected his relationship with Coree. Connecting the song to their affectionate love story, Andrew got down on one knee and said “Coree Leanne Sharp, are you gonna marry me or not?” Coree was happy; she said YES!! Thompson Square loved their story so much that they even invited them to dance on stage during the encore song, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not?”.
Coree and Andrew enjoyed their first concert as an engaged couple from center crowd at the venue. After the first encore song, Thompson Square shared with the crowd the heartwarming proposal that took place backstage. The band called the fiancés onstage to celebrate the engagement with a first dance to their favorite song. The celebration continued in downtown Palm Springs at Lulu’s Café.
Coree and Andrew love the outdoors and have passes to all the national parks. So when they asked me if we could do their engagement session in Joshua Tree, I thought it would be the perfect backdrop. It did not disappoint!
