It was a beautiful, fall day in sunny California when Cat and Mike said “I DO”!! I met up with her and her bridal party at the Aryes Hotel as they got ready, took selfies, and giggled the way girlfriends do when they are excited. Then we headed over to the Mitten Building so she could put on her gown and orange shoes (to match her motorcycle). When her ladies finished helping her into her dress, she looked like a warrior princess.
He was surrounded by his brother and closest friends. They toasted and cheered and did all the silly things boys do when they celebrate. He was dressed to the nines in his suit and tie, ready to see his bride.
They had an intimate, outdoor ceremony where her brother married them, and their family and friends were there to support their love. The golden light of the afternoon flooded in as they exchanged vows and rings.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom wanted photos with their bikes. I love when couples have a passion they share and enjoy together, and it is even better when they can incorporate that into photos!! After that, I took the bride and groom for a walk through downtown Redlands at sunset. The two got a little alone time to cuddle, giggle, hold hands, and even share a few kisses. I captured their first moments as husband and wife, and then we headed back to the celebration. Mike had a surprise planned for Cat. He learned to play their song on the piano. He played the first half of the song, then they shared their first dance to the second part of the song. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the building!
