The holidays mean I get to spend so much time with my family (which I am ever so thankful for) but it also means that it is ENGAGEMENT season. Engagement season is one of my favorite times of the year for a few reasons. I get to meet new new brides and grooms during the happiest times of their lives, I get to help create the perfect day with them and I can’t help but feed off of their love and happy energy. HAPPY ENERGY IS EVERYTHING!
During the process of meeting with my couples one of the first things we talk about is their engagement session. Over the next few weeks I am going to be sharing with you some of my favorite engagement locations throughout California. Today we are starting with my four favorite in Orange County.
Victoria Beach: Victoria Beach is a great place is you are looking for the coastal look. The lighting is great during the evening and the sunrise and its never overcrowded . The rocks and tide pools are our favorite part of this beach. There are permit fees of $100 and this actually applies to all of Laguna.
Downtown Laguna: Downtown Laguna gives you the modern and fun vibes. We can go to the restaurants, we can just walk downtown or we can head to see some of the art work. We can go all year around. There are permit fees of $100 and this actually applies to all of Laguna.
San Juan Capistrano: San Juan Capistrano is a beautiful historic location if you are looking for an “old world” type of look. There are a lot of hidden gems at this location and there is a beautiful train station that is perfect to start or end your session. There is a $50 permit fee.
Jeffrey Trail – Jeffrey Trail Park is an open space in a well maintained park in OC . This park is perfect for the natural bride and groom who love nature and the outdoors. This park is something to be seen. There are no permit costs at this location
