Capturing a babymoon with Zan + Natalie in Idyllwild
Babymooning
If you and your partner are expecting, you know your life is about the change forever. You deserve one last huzzah, just the two of you, before the newest member of your family steals all the thunder. We like to call this a babymoon. My clients Zan and Natalie took this much needed vacation by having an Idllywild babymoon maternity shoot none of us will soon forget.
Idyllwild Magic
I’ve shot so many occasions at Idyllwild: engagements sessions, maternity shoots, and many elopements. In fact, this idyllic place (all pun intended) made it into my top 15 places to elope last year. This mile-high forest located above Palm Springs in the San Jacinto Moutans is a great escape for nature-lovers. All the couples I shoot here, always leave more serene than when they arrived. Maybe its’ because of all the beautiful flowers perfuming the air! It was great for an expecting couple to get this fresh air and nature for their babymoon.
Zan + Natalie
Last year I shot Zan and Natalie’s elopement in Joshua Tree, and it was such a blast. We made it an adventure where we took their jeeps out, and I was able to capture their first dance in the headlights. This time, for their Idllywild babymoon maternity shoot, some booties Natalie’s dad bought for their soon-to-be baby girl Molly were heavily featured. They were first told they were having a boy, and when that news changed, Dad ran out and got these booties. They simply had to be debuted in this way!
