AlisaMarie and Jonny love the outdoors and celebrated their anniversary with an Alaska Adventure. This session is at their favorite spot near Girdwood, Alaska; it’s perfect for a get away night of camping, or just a swing in their hammock by a bonfire.
Always an Occasion
Some of my favorite sessions are the ones that celebrate any moment that has meaning to a couple. I love shooting weddings and elopements, and find that anniversary sessions can be just as meaningful- and often with less stress for the couple! Jonny wanted to gift these photos to AlisaMarie as an anniversary gift, and it made for such a beautiful adventure session. They chose this spot nestled along the shores near Girdwood, Alaska because it is the place they love to share their downtime together.
Alyeska!
Girdwood, AK (also known as “Alyeska”) is home to over 280 miles of trail at Chugach State Park. It is filled with some fo the most diverse landscapes I’ve seen, so I can understand why it’s so popular with hikers. Jonny and AlisaMarie often go here to camp, hang out in their hammock and have a bonfire.
Congratulations to the Couple
These two love birds have so much to celebrate! They just bought a home together and moved in shortly after this session. What better way to celebrate an anniversary or milestone in your relationship than to have an adventure together and document these special moments.
