Maya + Scott’s Carmel by the Sea engagement Session was a dream! Maya + Scott met met in college at USC. Scott walked into the wrong biology lab room, and the only available chair was at an all-girls table, where Maya was sitting! He eventually changed his schedule to stay in the lab group, and the rest is history.
They enjoy playing tennis, watch sports (while rooting for opposite teams), reading the same book together, doing crossword puzzles, and going on water/beach adventures together.
Scott proposed to Maya At the end of the Road of Hana in Maui, there are the Pools at ‘Ohe’o or the Seven Sacred Pools. They found a coastal hike that had a waterfall at one end and the ocean at the other. There was no one else around on this near-sunset hike, and that’s when Scott knew it was the right time (Maya said she didn’t want the most public proposal). He was able to finally take out the ring from his backpack and ask Maya to marry him! I can’t wait to celebrate with you both in the future, congratulations!
