I have lived in California my whole life and I absolutely wouldn’t change it for the world. The beaches, the sunsets the people everything about it is beautiful. Over the last week I have shared a lot about elopements. Today I wanted to share some of my favorite places to elope in California.
Lake Tahoe: Lake Tahoe is is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains which is located on the border of California and Nevada. Lake Tahoe has beautiful scenery for pictures for epic pictures and a lot of hidden gems.
Joshua Tree: Joshua Tree is a desert area located in California near Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. It is the perfect place for the bohemian bride and groom. There are tons of places for pictures beneath the cactuses and rocks.
San Francisco: Specifically the beach by the Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most beautiful places I have ever shot! The scenery goes on for miles and it is in a very secluded area.
Malibu: Malibu is a city west of Los Angeles, California. It’s known for its celebrity homes and beaches. These beaches also have some of the most amazing rocks you will see in California and they are perfect for your ceremony backdrop.
Big Sur: Big Sur California is a rugged stretch of California’s central coast between Carmel and San Simeon. Big Sur also has beautiful rocks and beaches. The sunsets at Big Sur are something I can’t even explain!
