Last March I had the chance to visit the Carolina’s to host some one on one mentorships and workshops with Adorn Collective. I have been so excited to share these images but had to wait for our big feature with Whimsically Wed!! I am so thrilled to see this shoot featured on their blog today! I had never been to the South and now I know what all the fuss is about!! Charming is the word that fits. The food is amazing and the people are sweet. Speaking of sweet people this real couple was absolutely adorable and we had the best time creating this inspo shoot with them. We created this shoot to provide inspiration for couples that might want to have a sweet, charming intimate wedding in the Rainbow Row area. We used this shoot to teach a one on one mentorship for film photography. If you are just learning film my best suggestion for you is jump in and practice on some styled shoots or even your family and friends. Shooting a few sessions on all film will help you figure out what film stocks you prefer, how you want to meter and how to best work with film. Of course, this is not something you want to practice on paying clients with so setting up a one on one mentorship is a great way to dive in and get to shooting film quickly.
