Cat and Micheal’s gorgeous wedding had perfect weather and dreamy light. Cat had spent months planning the perfect day and I loved seeing her vision come to life. Documenting every detail, tear of joy, laugh, and tender moment for my couples brings me so much joy.
Showing up an hour before HAMU finishes with the bride allows me time to style the brides details. Cat’s dress was absolutely stunning- just look at that lace! I love including heirloom pieces and anything special the bride will wear on her big day. I made sure to photograph the penny that Cat wore in her shoe. It was the same penny her own mom had worn at her own wedding years ago.
Of course we also want to make sure we capture all the details for the charming groom as well. Thanks to my second shooter, Heather (yes we share the same name) for documenting each of Michael’s handsome details.
The moment when your Dad walks you down the aisle to meet your groom is always such a special moment. It’s always one of my favorite things to capture on wedding day!
My very favorite part of the wedding day is sunset. This is the time I pull the couple away for a little alone time to enjoy their first sunset as husband and wife. In this intimate shoot they share kisses, secrets, and laughter to celebrate their first day as a married couple!!
