Long Beach Engagement Session A+A

It all began for these two with a one-liner delivered via a dating website by Arjun to Andrea in 2014. After a few days of chatting, they met for coffee. Arjun felt like this girl was interesting and he was intrigued by her, which created a level of mystery. He had to know more about this mystery girl so he invited her out for yogurt and launched so many questions that the two closed down the yogurt shop!! After date three and some deep dish pizza, they were hooked!

Shortly after the two started dating Arjun went to Thailand and India with his family for three weeks. The two exchanged multiple emails and photos during the 3 weeks apart.

Upon Arjun’s return, the two spent many weekends together exploring the beauty of Southern California. They enjoyed comedy shows, hidden restaurants, weekends in San Diego, wine tasting in Temecula, a week in Panama, family camping trips, and New Year’s in New York!!  These two love to travel and explore together and I loved hearing all about their adventures as we explored Long Beach during their engagement session.

In January 2016, they took it to the next level and moved in together in Long Beach. Long Beach holds a special place in their hearts, so they flew down from Nor Cal to do their engagement session there.

Arjun knew it was time to pop the question. He met with a custom jeweler and designed the ring based off of what he thought Andrea would like. Arjun decided that the proposal would be at Terranea Resort, overlooking the Palos Verdes Peninsula. The next day, they left for a pre- honeymoon trip to Spain. They spent the week exploring Barcelona and Valencia, ate paella, watched a bull fight and went to the annual Fallas festival (commemoration of St. Joseph).

Arjun was given a promotion at work, but it required them to move to the Bay Area. It was an opportunity for Andrea to explore a new area and Arjun to share where he grew up.

I really enjoyed sharing the day in Long Beach with these two, and we even grabbed a drink and a bite to eat together. It was the perfect ending to a beautiful day and I cannot wait to capture their wedding at Frangi Pani Winery  this year!!
